The "mechanically assembled electric shaft boring machine" jointly developed by Southeast University and Xugong Group Kaigong Heavy Industry Nanjing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xugong Kaigong") was officially launched in Nanjing on December 6 and successfully completed the acceptance inspection. It will soon go to the second phase of the power corridor construction project of S304 Provincial Road (320 National Road Section to Yunxi Road) in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. This equipment is not only the first ultra-large diameter shaft boring equipment in Jiangsu Province, but also a major technological breakthrough in the field of shaft construction under complex geological conditions in my country.

This equipment is specially designed for complex geological conditions and the construction needs of ultra-large shafts. It has independent and controllable intellectual property rights and technical capabilities, and has achieved breakthrough innovations in many core technology fields: (1) Ultra-large diameter excavation capability: It can achieve an excavation diameter of 10-18 meters, meeting the construction needs of ultra-deep and complex shafts, setting a new benchmark for similar equipment at home and abroad; (2) Adaptability to complex geological conditions: It can operate efficiently in soil, soft rock, hard rock and composite formations to ensure smooth progress of construction; (3) Efficient excavation speed: The maximum excavation speed can reach 5 meters/day, which greatly shortens the construction period and improves construction efficiency and economic benefits; (4) Intelligent excavation system: It is equipped with an autonomous perception and feedback adjustment system to achieve intelligent matching and precise control, and improve construction safety and stability; (5) First application in the field of power shafts: It fills the technical gap in the field of power shaft excavation and provides a new solution for power corridor construction.

After three years of research and development, the equipment has received strong support from the key core technology (equipment) research project of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Nanjing Jiangning District Science and Technology Bureau's unveiling project. Led by the team of Professor He Lei, a national young talent from Southeast University, the team focuses on the research and development of perception systems, machine-rock matching optimization, and efficient auxiliary rock breaking and other intelligent packaging technologies to carry out research and development tasks. The team of Su Yanqi, a national entrepreneurial talent and general manager of XCMG Kaigong, leads the overall design and production process of the equipment. Deeply integrate the profound technical accumulation of XCMG Group's intelligent manufacturing, fully integrate the dual strengths of informatization and advanced manufacturing in the new era, and "train soldiers through war" to strongly empower the company's new industrialization transformation and upgrading. The equipment fully combines the scientific research advantages of Southeast University in the fields of intelligent technology and engineering science and the industry experience of XCMG Kaigong in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing, adding another example to the school-enterprise industry-university-research cooperation.

The equipment will be widely used in major national projects such as power energy development, transportation infrastructure construction, and mining resource exploitation. With its efficient and precise excavation capabilities, the equipment not only optimizes the construction process and reduces project costs, but also provides technical support for improving project safety and sustainability.
