On March 27th, Elsevier officially released the 2023 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers list. Our college has a total of 8 faculty members selected in the field of civil engineering. They are (listed by surname strokes): Wang Hao, Feng Decheng, Su Zhiqiang, Wu Gang, Wu Zhishen, Gong Fengqiang, Xu Zhaodong, and Guo Tong. In addition, two faculty members from the School of Transportation, Du Yanjun and Cai Chunsheng, were also selected for the list.
It is reported that a total of 5801 individuals were included in the 2023 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers list, representing 496 universities, enterprises, and research institutions. The list covers 10 disciplinary fields designated by the Ministry of Education and 84 primary disciplines, with 134 individuals selected in the field of civil engineering.
