Recently, the domestic Global Scholars Database website released the 2023 Global Scholars Academic Influence Ranking (Lifetime Academic Influence List), which comprehensively considers parameters such as scholars' research output, Google Scholar Metrics journal ratings, H-index, citation of achievements, and authorship order in achievements. A high average score indicates that scholars are more inclined to publish papers in high-quality journals, while the comprehensive score considers the quantity of scholars' output more. A total of 8,029 individuals from China were included in the list, with 47 in the civil engineering discipline (29 mainland scholars). Our university had 3 professors selected, including Professors Wu Zhishen and Wu Gang from our school. The specific list is as follows:
