The China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan recently announced 49 journals selected for the 2023 High-Starting New Journal Project. This initiative supports the establishment of high-level English scientific journals in various technology fields. Urban Lifeline, hosted by Southeast University, is the only civil engineering journal selected for this project in 2023, marking a significant achievement for the university. Urban Lifeline is the world's first academic journal focused on urban lifelines, covering diverse scenarios and integrating smart information technology. It serves as an interdisciplinary platform, publishing high-quality research on urban lifeline safety, health intelligence, and low-carbon durability. The journal encompasses nine specialized areas, including sensing technologies, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and social technology systems.
